♦ Master's in Demography / 2076

The objective of this program is to equip researchers with the necessary skills to study the population, population dynamics, and components thereof (i.e., fertility, mortality, and migration), as well as their causes and impacts. The program provides solid training in demographic analysis, transversal and longitudinal statistical methods, and spatial analysis methods.

♦ Master's in Urban Studies (with research)  / 3854

The goal of this program is to train students to analyze urban transformations so they are able to formulate diagnoses and develop intervention strategies. Pedagogical activities hinge on the study of urban social and economic dynamics, examination of urban policies, and environment analysis. The urban studies master's program with research is structured to allow students to gain experience in all steps of conducting research.

♦ Master's in Urban Studies (with research internship)  / 3855

The goal of this program is to train students to analyze urban transformations so they are able to formulate diagnoses and develop intervention strategies. Pedagogical activities hinge on the study of urban social and economic dynamics, examination of urban policies, and environment analysis. The urban studies master's program with research internship is structured to foster professional autonomy by giving students the methodological tools needed to perform rigorous theoretical or applied research.

♦ Master's in Research Practices and Public Action / 3086

The program prepares students to assume the diverse roles associated with the interface between social research and action, both as social research professionals and as analysts, knowledge mediators, popularizers, consultants, and research project managers. This master's program provides a unique learning environment that puts students in direct contact with research teams and their partners in community action.

♦ Doctorate in Demography / 3076

The objective of this program is to train researchers able to design and conduct original population research. The training stresses interaction with professors and other students in the doctoral seminar and thesis seminar, and in the preparation of the thesis itself.

♦ Doctorate in Urban Studies / 3895

The goal of this program is to train researchers specialized in the analysis of urban development, i.e., leveraging the physical and human potential of urban areas. The program emphasizes theoretical and practical approaches to analyzing urban issues within their various regional contexts. It stresses multidisciplinary methods and critical analysis as well as diagnostic analysis and its implications in terms of public and private initiatives in urban areas.

This short program in analysis of spatial data was create for students and professionals who wish to acquire skills in statistics, geographic information systems and spatial analysis.

This short program allows students to develop knowledges and skills in field of knowledge mobilization and to initiate them about the concrete and common issues's and challenges's, first, in applying and contextualization of scientific information within the working environment and, second,  the use of knowledge in the working environment in the research partnerships.
