Federico Rosei, professor and director of the INRS Énergie Matériaux Télécommunications Research Centre, has received yet another major international distinction for his remarkable contribution to ceramic materials. He has been invited to become a member of the prestigious World Academy of Ceramics as an Academician in the Science class.
His work has been acclaimed through numerous instances of peer recognition, both nationally and internationally. For example, Dr. Rosei recently received the Outstanding Engineer Award from IEEE Canada
, the President’s Fellowship for Distinguished Scientists from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the John C. Polanyi Award
from the Chemical Institute of Canada, and a Fulbright Chair at the University of California, Los Angeles.
Dr. Rosei will receive his Academy diploma on June 5, 2018, during the inaugural session of the 14th International Ceramics Congress to be held in Perugia, Italy. He was one of 20 candidates selected from around the world by the World Academy of Ceramics in 2017.
